Heading West: Pensacola, FL

My cross country endeavour started at 7:30 Monday morning. It was smooth sailing up until Milton, Florida where I waited out some threatening thunderstorms and Gail force winds that had pummeled Louisiana the night before.

I made a few friends with the old-timers by giving them tours of the minimalist adventure van which easily passed the hour and a half detour. During that time, I managed to gaze at Surfline to see if there any waves coming to the gulf coast and it must’ve been my lucky day.

Later, I fueled up and started toward Dallas.
